Welcome to the RSS Management of Reference committee's Reference Policies & Procedures Manual Template wiki.

Our purpose in creating this wiki is to provide Reference Services managers with a template to use when creating or revising departmental policies and procedures manuals. It is our goal that this template be useful to managers in all library types, and that users will contribute examples from their own manuals -- hence the wiki format.

This template is a work in progress, so feel free to add what you consider to be the best examples of policy or procedure which are in place in your library. Policies and procedures which address current technology issues are especially appreciated.
